My name is Aliyah Campuzano and I am an actor, creator, and musician based in Montreal, Quebec. I seek to create and take part in performances that tell meaningful stories that help others through their pain and provide joy and entertainment. In my acting, I enjoy working with comedy, absurdity, and drama as a means of portraying the human experience. I’m interested in sparking thought and conversation about connection, love, and collaboration through media. I trained as an actor for 8 years and have experience throughout this time within both theatrical performances and film projects. At the Drama program at Canterbury Highschool in Ottawa and Acting for the Theatre at Concordia University in Montreal, I trained in acting for the camera and the stage, biomechanics, character mask, laban, clown, and explored many other acting disciplines.

I’ve had a range of exciting experiences so far as a performer. Notably, I recently worked in Perugia, Italy and played as N in The Party, directed by Robert Reid. We developed the play into a modern adaptation and toured several villages in Italy. I co-starred as Iris in Aleah P. Carreau’s short film; In Plain Sight and produced the films credit track by Felix Quastel. More information about these projects can be found in my portfolio.

As a musician, I am a composer, songwriter, singer, guitarist, and pianist. I create my own original music which I produce and perform. My debut album; Heart On Trial is out everywhere now. Check out the music tab to find it on your desired platform!
